	Timeless Education for a New World is a four-year campaign to raise $6.8 million to refurbish and expand a building on the East Side of Saint Paul in order to create a new educational institute dedicated to the Montessori method. Dear Friends, On January 6, 1907 Dr. Maria Montessori opened a school for 50 children ages three to six in a housing project in Rome. The results were so spectacular that they were heralded as the miracle children. Today, the Montessori method continues to change the lives of children around the world. Montessori education is a solution for the challenges in our societya Timeless solution. Montessori works for all children. Socio-economic status, race, and ethnicity are all irrelevant to the success of Montessori educated children. The method responds to the universality of how children develop worldwide. As we mark this centennial of Montessori education, the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota (MTCM) has embarked on a project that demonstrates our commitment to the original roots of Montessori as a vehicle for both educational and social reform. We have purchased a 3.6 acre property and building in the center of a diverse community in St. Paul where we will expand our programs and services. When completed, the MTCM will stand as the only facility of its kind in the world, attracting national and international attention and resources.
