The Four Cornerstones The MTCMs expansion project is a considerable ramping up of our physical space as well as program offerings. This includes the design and construction of highly-specialized learning environments for each developmental age level so we can better serve the community. These four cornerstones reflect our desire to provide Timeless Education for a New World Teacher Training Montessori School International Montessori Museum and Research Center Community Outreach
	To return to the roots of Montessori as a social movement around the child; to ensure his innate rights are upheld, respected, and nurtured. To promote knowledge and understanding of the conditions necessary for the full development of the human being from conception to maturity both at home and in society. To create exemplary learning environments and parent mentoring for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years to demonstrate the depth and breadth of the human potential when obstacles to learning are removed. To make quality teacher training more accessible to a broader constituency that represents and reflects the various ethnicities in our city. To execute additional studies and research into the effectiveness of Montessori education across cultures. To contribute to the positive growth and development of the Ames neighborhood in East Saint Paul and surrounding areas.
